Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil the grate.
Step 2
Combine barbecue sauce and applesauce in a bowl. Place ribs on a large sheet of heavy duty aluminum foil; rub salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and garlic powder on all sides ribs. Pour barbecue sauce mixture over ribs to coat; seal ribs in foil. Marinate in the refrigerator 8 hours to overnight.
Step 3
Place ribs in foil on grill grate; cook on the preheated grill 1 hour. Remove ribs from foil; place directly on the grate. Continue cooking until ribs are done, about 30 minutes more, basting frequently with sauce.
