Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Bake in the preheated oven until heated through, 5 to 10 minutes.
Step 2
Bring a pot of water to a boil; add sweet potatoes. Continue to boil until potatoes are easily pierced with a knife, 15 to 20 minutes.
Step 3
Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray an 8-inch square baking pan with cooking spray.
Step 4
Mix cinnamon, salt, pepper, nutmeg, and allspice together in a small bowl. Mix maple syrup and melted butter together in another small bowl.
Step 5
Drain potatoes and transfer to a bowl. Mash thoroughly. Add spice mix and stir until well blended. Transfer potatoes to the prepared baking pan. Drizzle maple syrup mixture over top.
