Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Stir ketchup, corn oil, cider vinegar, and sugar together in a large pot over medium-high heat until sugar has dissolved completely. Bring to a boil, then add jalapeño peppers. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in garlic and oregano until incorporated.
Step 2
Ladle mixture into 10 sterile pint jars, leaving a 1/4-inch space at the top. Wipe the rims with a clean, dry towel. Seal with the lids and rings.
Step 3
Process the filled jars in a hot water bath to seal, about 10 minutes. Refrigerate any unsealed jars.
