Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Place cucumbers in a colander and liberally sprinkle with salt. Set aside until water starts to release from cucumbers, about 15 minutes. Drain and rinse cucumbers.
Step 2
Mix together cucumbers, onions, and green bell pepper in a serving bowl.
Step 3
Pour dressing over cucumber mixture; stir until evenly coated.
Step 4
To make the dressing: Whisk sugar, vinegar, celery seed, and salt together in a medium bowl until smooth.
