Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Set machine for medium crust on the Basic cycle and press Start.
Step 2
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Boil kohlrabi until completely tender, 5 to 7 minutes; drain.
Step 3
Transfer kohlrabi to a blender; puree until smooth.
Step 4
Place milk, kohlrabi, oil, flour, sugar, salt, rosemary, and yeast in a bread machine in the order listed.

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 cups bread flour
  • 2 teaspoons dried rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast (such as SAF-instant)
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 1.25 cups peeled and diced kohlrabi
  • 0.75 cup fat-free milk
