Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat, and lightly oil the grate.
Step 2
Cook on the preheated grill until no longer pink in the center, about 10 minutes per side. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
Step 3
Whisk water, sugar, and salt together in a bowl; pour into a gallon-sized resealable plastic bag. Add pork, thyme, and rosemary to the bag. Coat pork with marinade, squeeze out excess air, and seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
Step 4
Remove pork chops from the bag; discard marinade.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups water
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary
  • 4 (1-inch thick) pork chops
  • 1.5 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 2.5 tablespoons white sugar
