Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat and lightly oil the grate.

Heat hot sauce and butter in a saucepan over low heat until butter melts. Off heat, stir until hot sauce and butter are well combined.

Grill wings until no longer sticking to the grate, 10 to 15 minutes. Flip wings; grill until mostly cooked through, about 10 minutes more.
