Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Combine water, hibiscus petals, cinnamon stick, whole clove, allspice berry, and nutmeg in a medium saucepan over high heat; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 1 ½ hours.
Step 2
Off heat, stir in sugar until dissolved, about 1 minute. Cool syrup to room temperature, about 1 hour. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Step 3
Fill 10 glasses with ice. Add 3 fluid ounces hibiscus syrup to each glass; top with 8 fluid ounces sparkling water. Squeeze 1 lime wedge into each glass.
