Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion and bell pepper; cook and stir until slightly softened, 3 to 5 minutes. Add cabbage, water, garlic, and thyme; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and steam until cabbage is tender, 8 to 10 minutes.
Step 2
Stir in Scotch bonnet chile until warmed through; season to taste with salt and pepper.

  • 1 Scotch bonnet chile, seeded and thinly sliced
