Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Mix orange juice, soy sauce, honey, hot sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic together in a small bowl until well combined. Set orange sauce aside.
Step 2
Season flour lightly with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning on a large plate. Cut chicken breasts into 1/2-inch strips. Dredge chicken pieces in seasoned flour; sprinkle more salt and pepper on top.
Step 3
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken strips and brown on both sides, 1 to 2 minutes per side. Pour in orange sauce. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, until sauce thickens and chicken is no longer pink in the centers, 8 to 10 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the centers should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
Step 4
Plate orange chicken and top with nectarine slices.

  • 0.5 cup orange juice
  • 0.25 cup light soy sauce
