Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step 2
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
Step 3
Place sausage in a large saucepan with enough water to cover; simmer over low heat for 1 hour. Drain. Transfer sausage to a 9x13-inch baking dish; set aside.
Step 4
Combine onion, 2/3 cup water, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and hot pepper sauce in same saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring. Pour over sausage.
