Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Butter a 2-quart baking dish.

Place potatoes and their liquid in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil over medium heat.

Transfer potatoes to a medium bowl; mash with a fork or potato masher until mostly smooth.

Add white sugar, butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
