Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a loaf pan with cooking spray.
Step 2
Spread ketchup over the bottom of the loaf pan; spread brown sugar over the ketchup.
Step 3
Combine ground beef, crackers, eggs, onion, garlic, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Form mixture into a loaf and place in the prepared pan. Lay bacon strips on top in a lattice or other pattern.
Step 4
Bake in the preheated oven until juices run clear and bacon is cooked, about 1 hour.

  • 0.5 cup ketchup
  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 0.75 medium onion, chopped
  • 0.75 cup crushed unsalted saltine crackers
