Recipe Instructions
Step 1
Bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Add rice and cook, stirring often until soft, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
Step 2
Heat oil in a large wok or skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until no longer pink in the middle, 5 to 7 minutes. Add to saucepan with rice.
Step 3
Fry bacon the large wok or skillet over medium-high until cooked through but not crunchy, 2 to 3 minutes per side. Remove bacon to a paper towel-lined plate. Drain fat from the wok, leaving 1 to 2 tablespoons behind. Cut bacon into small pieces.
Step 4
Return the wok to medium-high heat. Add rice, chicken, bacon, green onions, and soy sauce. Stir until mixture is heated through, 2 to 3 minutes.
