Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
Step 2
Combine water chestnuts, soy sauce, and garlic powder in a small bowl; toss to coat. Marinate for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Drain water chestnuts; discard soy sauce. Place 1 pineapple chunk in center of each bacon half, then place 1 water chestnut on top. Fold ends of bacon over water chestnut; secure with a toothpick. Repeat with remaining pineapple, bacon, and water chestnuts. Gently toss bacon-wrapped pineapple and water chestnuts in brown sugar in a bowl; place on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 4
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes; flip pieces over. Continue baking until bacon is cooked to your desired degree of doneness, 15 to 35 minutes more. Transfer to a paper-towel-lined plate to drain briefly. Serve hot.
