Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Cook coconut and agave syrup filling in a small pot over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it gets sticky.
Step 2
Bring water and salt to a boil in another pot; add rice flour. Mix well, remove from heat, and let cool, about 30 minutes.
Step 3
Wet your hands and knead the dough for 1 minute. Roll dough out on a rice flour-dusted work surface. Roll out like a pastry. Cut into 2-inch rounds.
Step 4
Put filling in the center of each roll. Fold in half and seal edges by pinching with fingertips.
Step 5
Place a greased steamer insert into a saucepan and fill with water to just below the bottom of the steamer. Bring water to a boil. Add dumplings, cover, and steam until cooked through, 3 to 4 minutes. Best served warm.
