Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Crumble ground chuck into a large skillet over medium heat; cook and stir until evenly browned. Drain.
Step 2
Transfer beef to a large pot. Add tomato sauce, chili beans, diced tomatoes, beer, onions, jalapeños, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce, and red pepper flakes.
Step 3
Cover the pot; simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, about 2 hours. Cool completely. Refrigerate for two days (it improves with time).

  • 3 tablespoons hot pepper sauce (e.g. Tabasco™), or to taste
  • 2 large white onions, chopped
  • 0.25 cup Worcestershire sauce
