Line a baking sheet with waxed paper.

Pour crispy rice cereal into a large bowl.

Combine condensed milk, caramels, and margarine in the top of a double boiler. Cook over lightly simmering water, stirring constantly, until melted and combined, about 5 minutes.
Step 4
Working one at a time, use a wooden skewer to dip each marshmallow in hot caramel mixture. Immediately roll caramel-coated marshmallow in crispy rice cereal. Remove from the skewer and place on the prepared baking sheet.
