Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Combine onion, celery, potatoes, peas, bay leaves, and broth in a large pot over medium heat. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer, 1 hour.
Step 2
Remove bay leaves and discard. Stir in zucchini, broccoli, basil, and pepper. Simmer until broccoli is tender, about 20 minutes.
Step 3
Stir in spinach and remove from heat. Purée in a blender or food processor using an immersion blender until smooth. Salt to taste, and serve.
