Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the outdoor grill for medium heat and place a large sheet of aluminum foil onto the grate.
Step 2
Melt together butter and honey in a small saucepan over medium heat. Reduce heat to low and cook gently, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened, about 5 minutes. Do not let sauce boil. Set aside.
Step 3
Thread a peach quarter, a plum quarter, a banana piece, and a strawberry onto each skewer. Place the skewers onto the prepared grate on the preheated grill; spoon honey sauce over each skewer.
Step 4
Grill until fruit is softened and sauce has thickened and cooked onto fruit, about 5 minutes. Flip the skewers, spoon more honey sauce over each, and continue grilling for about 5 more minutes.

  • 3 fresh plums, pitted and quartered
  • 3 bananas, cut into 4 pieces each
  • 12 strawberries, hulled
  • 0.5 cup margarine
  • 0.25 cup honey
