Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Place bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain bacon slices on paper towels, then crumble and set aside.
Step 2
Whisk together sugar, cornstarch, and salt in a medium bowl. Slowly pour in vinegar and water, whisking constantly.
Step 3
Place crumbled bacon in a medium skillet over medium heat. Pour in vinegar mixture; cook and stir until mixture thickens.
