Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease baking sheets.
Step 2
Sift flour, baking soda, and salt together in a bowl.
Step 3
Mix sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract together in a separate bowl until creamy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, until incorporated. Mix in dry ingredients.
Step 4
Roll dough about 1/8 inch thick on a lightly floured board. Cut into squares or rounds and place 1 inch apart on cookie sheet. Sprinkle with granulated sugar.
Step 5
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden.
