Ingredients

• ⅓ cup white sugar
• ⅓ cup fresh lime juice
• 2 tablespoons grated lime zest
• 6 tablespoons triple sec
• 3 ½ tablespoons tequila
• 2 pounds fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

Mix triple sec, sugar, lime juice, tequila, and lime zest in a bowl; stir to dissolve sugar. Pour over strawberries in a large bowl. Let stand, stirring occasionally, until juice forms, about 1 hour.
