Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Melt butter in a large, deep skillet over medium heat. Add onion and celery; cook and stir until tender, about 10 minutes. Stir in bread crumbs, salt, poultry seasoning, pepper, thyme and sage until well mixed. Stir in enough chicken broth to moisten.
Step 2
Remove from the heat and let cook to room temperature. Spoon into large resealable bags and refrigerate for up to 3 days.

  • 2 cups chicken broth, or as needed
  • 16 cups dry bread crumbs
