This is one of those dishes that defies explanation. Pasta, garlic, olive oil and a sprinkling of cheese. How could only four ingredients taste so wonderful? An Italian miracle.

Recipe Instructions

Step 1
In a large pot of salted water boil pasta until al dente. Drain well.
Step 2
In a small saucepan heat oil slightly, add garlic. Saute garlic until it is lightly browned. Be careful not to burn garlic.
Step 3
Combine pasta and garlic, salt and pepper to taste. Top with Parmesan or Romano cheese and serve.

  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed, or more to taste
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 1.5 pounds pasta
