Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add mushrooms; cook and stir until tender. Stir in port; simmer until liquid reduced by half. Stir in cream; simmer until sauce becomes a thick gravy. Stir in basil just before serving.

  • 1 pound portobello mushrooms, diced
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1.5 cups port wine
