Step 1
Grease a 9x13-inch pan. Set aside.
Step 2
Combine sugar, evaporated milk, and 1/2 cup butter in a saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat. Remove from heat. Add marshmallows, cherry chips, and vanilla extract. Fold together until well combined. Set aside to cool.
Step 3
Melt chocolate chips in the microwave in a microwave-safe bowl. Add peanut butter and 1 teaspoon butter. Mix until smooth. Add peanuts and fold until coated.
Step 4
Pour 1/2 of the chocolate mixture into the prepared pan. Spread to cover the pan's bottom. Pour cherry mixture on top of chocolate and spread to cover. Top with the remaining 1/2 of the chocolate mixture. Let cool completely, about 30 minutes. Cut into bars.
