This watermelon granita with Champagne recipe is a wonderful dessert to end a warm evening. Watermelon purée and champagne are frozen into a granita.

Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Place watermelon and sugar in a blender. Blend for 1 minute. Stir in Champagne. Pour watermelon mixture into a container; cover, and freeze. Stir mixture with a fork every 30 minutes until frozen, about 2 hours.
Step 2
Remove granita from the freezer and stir well using a fork, or process in a food processor until it reaches desired consistency. Serve in tall glasses garnished with sliced watermelon.

  • 4 slices watermelon
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
