Apple Crisp with Truvia® Natural Sweetener

This dish is delicious hot or cold. Be creative and substitute in your favorite seasonal fruits for some or all of the apples – try pears, cranberries, or peaches. Made with Truvia® natural sweetener this dessert contains 30% fewer calories* and has 60% less sugar than the sugar-sweetened version.

Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Assemble all ingredients; Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2
Place apples in a large bowl; sprinkle with water, Truvia® natural sweetener, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg; toss to coat the fruit.
Step 3
Spray 9-inch baking dish with non-stick spray; place apple mixture in dish.
Step 4
In a separate small bowl, combine oats, Truvia® natural sweetener, second flour and cinnamon, melted butter, brown sugar and salt; stir to form crumbly mixture.
Step 5
Sprinkle crumb mixture on top of apples.
Step 6
Bake 35-40 minutes until apples are tender.

  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 1 ½ tablespoons brown sugar
  • 4 apples, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Truvia® natural sweetener spoonable, plus
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons Truvia® natural sweetener spoonable**
  • Non-stick cooking spray
