Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Lightly grease two 9x5-inch loaf pans.

Stir sugar, oil, eggs, applesauce, and vanilla together in a large bowl until well combined. Sift flours, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt into a separate bowl; stir into egg mixture, mixing just until combined. Fold in apples and walnuts. Pour batter into the prepared pans.
Step 3
Bake in the preheated oven until a knife inserted in the center of each loaf comes out clean, about 70 minutes.
