Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Melt butter and oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add asparagus, red onion, and salt. Cook until onion begins to soften, about 5 minutes. Stir pepper into mixture and continue cooking until onion caramelizes, another 5 minutes.
Step 2
Remove from heat and add vinegar, Parmesan cheese, sesame seeds, and pine nuts. Toss to combine.
