Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Make a paste by crushing basil leaves and salt with a mortar and pestle. Stir in the olive oil and balsamic vinegar.n

  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1 bunch basil, leaves picked from stems
