Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease an 8x8-inch baking dish.
Step 2
Arrange blueberries over the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Set aside.
Step 3
Whisk together eggs and egg yolk in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Stir in sugar and continue whisking until mixture thickens. Whisk in milk and vanilla until well mixed. Whisk in sifted flour and salt until batter is light and airy. Pour over blueberries to cover evenly.
Step 4
Bake on the center rack in the preheated oven until the top is golden and springs back when touched, about 45 minutes. Cool slightly.
Step 5
Cut clafouti into 8 equal pieces. Dust with confectioners' sugar and serve hot.

  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
