Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 2-quart casserole dish.
Step 2
Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika. Melt butter in a large skillet; add chicken and brown well on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. Transfer chicken to the prepared casserole dish.
Step 3
Combine mushroom soup, mushrooms, processed cheese, milk, onion, and Worcestershire sauce in a saucepan over medium-low heat until cheese melts, but do not boil. Stir to thoroughly combine, then stir in sour cream until smooth. Pour sauce over chicken; cover with foil.
Step 4
Bake in the preheated oven until chicken tender and juices run clear, about 45 minutes. Uncover dish, baste with sauce; continue baking 30 minutes more, basting occasionally.
