Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Combine lentils, water, tomato, onion, cumin, salt, and oil in a large pot over medium heat; bring to a boil. Cook at a boil, stirring occasionally, until lentils are soft, about 30 minutes.
Step 2
Add potatoes and cook until potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes more.
