Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2
Combine apples, brown sugar, water, butter, flour, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl; mix to combine.
Step 3
Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles. Scoop 1 tablespoon apple mixture into the center of each triangle and fold into a package, making sure the ends are sealed. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet.
Step 4
Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, 15 to 18 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes.
Step 5
Serve with a drizzle of caramel sauce on each turnover.

  • 6 medium apples - peeled, cored, and diced small
  • ¼ cup cold salted butter, cut into small pieces
  • 2 tablespoons caramel sauce, or to taste
