Step 1
Bring 4 cups water and rice to a boil in a saucepan. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed, 20 to 25 minutes.

Place sausages and remaining 1/2 cup water in a large skillet over medium heat, cover, and cook until heated through, about 5 minutes. Thinly slice sausages.
