This recipe is the best and most delicious homemade Alfredo sauce. It's really creamy, and I promise that you will not make it any other way. When I cook this at the firehouse this will feed 5 of us and we'll have leftovers. Serve over pasta.

Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Melt butter in a medium nonstick saucepan over medium heat. Stir in cream cheese and garlic using a wire whisk until smooth, about 5 minutes. Add heavy cream a little at a time and whisk until smooth, cooking slow over medium-low heat, 7 to 10 minutes. Stir in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until blended. Adjust seasonings to taste. Remove from heat.
