Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step 2
Combine macadamia nuts, bread crumbs, 1 teaspoon oil, black pepper, and red pepper flakes in a food processor. Process until smooth. Set aside.
Step 3
Combine mango, cream, and lemon juice in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer until thickened.
Step 4
Season fish with salt and black pepper. Heat remaining 3 teaspoons oil and garlic in a large oven-proof skillet over medium heat. Sear fish on both sides.
Step 5
Transfer fish to preheated oven, and bake until cooked through. Cover fish with macadamia crust, and return to the oven until crust browns. Top with the mango cream sauce.

  • 0.25 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 mango - peeled, seeded and diced
  • 0.5 cup chopped macadamia nuts
