Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Whisk together flour and baking powder in a small bowl until well combined; set aside.

Stir together brown sugar, 1/4 cup melted butter, and amaretto liqueur in a 9-inch pie plate until sugar has dissolved. Arrange peach slices in the plate and sprinkle with pecans; set aside.

Beat together white sugar and 1/4 cup butter with an electric mixer in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Beat in 1 egg until incorporated, then beat in remaining egg along with almond extract.
