Step 1
Stir sugar and lime juice together in a large pitcher until dissolved. Add mint sprigs, mashing with a wooden spoon to release some of the oils. Pour in water, and stir; mix in jalapeño slices. Put a lid on the pitcher, and refrigerate 8 hours to overnight.
