Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step 2
Cut onion into thick slices and arrange them on the bottom of a casserole dish. Lay pork chops over onions. Season chops with salt and pepper to taste.

Cover chops with mushrooms and pour stewed tomatoes over all.

Bake, covered, for 1 hour. Remove the cover and bake for 30 more minutes.
