So when it bakes, the pie is extra sweet and the filling turns a beautiful dark color. It 's especially nice served with freshly whipped cream sprinkled with candied ginger.

Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Mix together pumpkin, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and molasses. Blend in eggs and evaporated milk. Pour filling into pie shell.
Step 2
Bake at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) for 40 minutes, or until set.

  • 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
  • 3 eggs, beaten
