Sour Cream Cookies I

Sour cream helps keep these cookies very moist and tasty.

Ingredients

• 2 eggs
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 cup packed brown sugar
• ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
• ½ teaspoon baking soda
• ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
• ½ cup sour cream
• 5 tablespoons butter

Recipe Instructions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F(190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.

Step 2

Melt butter or margarine over low heat. In a separate bowl, beat together the eggs, sugar, sour cream, and vanilla. Mix in the melted butter and stir until well blended. Sift together the flour, baking soda, and nutmeg and add to egg mixture, stirring constantly. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets, about 1 inch apart.

Bake for 10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
