Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Spread a thin layer of butter on one side of each bread slice. Smear peanut butter on on unbuttered side, and jam on the other. Press the peanut butter and jelly sides together.

Remove the crusts with a large cookie cutter or knife. Use a fork to seal the sides all the way around.
