Recipe Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Quarter large strawberries and halve small ones; place on a rimmed baking sheet. Toss with balsamic vinegar, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt to coat; spread into a single layer.
Step 3
Bake in the preheated oven until tender, about 20 minutes. Stir well; spread into a single layer. Continue baking until juices start to thicken, about 10 minutes more.
