Combine sugar water, pineapple juice, puréed strawberries, orange juice, and lemonade in a 6-quart container; stir in rum. Transfer mixture to a large plastic ice cream pail; freeze 8 hours to overnight.
Step 3
Scoop ½ cup frozen mixture into an 8-ounce glass; fill with lemon-lime soda.
