Chocolate Butter-Creme Frosting

This simple chocolate buttercream frosting is great on double chocolate cookies.

Ingredients

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 pinch salt
• 1.5 cups confectioners' sugar
• 0.25 cup butter, softened
• 1.5 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
• 1.5 tablespoons milk

Step 1

In small bowl mix at medium speed, sugar, butter (softened), and salt until light and fluffy.

Step 2

Add melted chocolate, milk and vanilla extract, beating until well blended.
