Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Shred beets in a food processor fitted with the shredding blade.
Step 2
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add shredded beets; cook and stir until slightly softened, about 5 minutes.
Step 3
Add water to skillet; cover. Simmer until beets completely softened, about 10 minutes. Stir in balsamic vinegar; season with salt and pepper.
