Recipe Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Bake in the preheated oven until golden, about 1 hour.

Gather all ingredients.
Step 4
Put bread cubes in a large bowl. Season with salt, sage, thyme, poultry seasoning, and black pepper.
Step 5
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add celery and onion; cook and stir in hot butter until onion is soft, 5 to 10 minutes.
Step 6
Add cooked onion-celery mixture to bread cubes; stir.
Step 7
Pour bread mixture into a large casserole dish; cover the dish with aluminum foil.

  • 0.75 cup chopped onion
  • 1.5 cups chopped celery with leaves
